Same way I've done in the past 3 FMs. 4-3-3 DM wide gegen pressing. I also sacked Kevin Blackwell, which might have helped!Bloody hell! How you setting up? I'm thinking of doing a 4-4-2 with Boro.

As I’m not a gamer, I’ve always wondered how time-consuming this game is?
For instance, how many hours per day/week do you generally play and how long does it take to get through season?
Completely depends how you want to play the game, if you choose to do training/scouting etc yourself and play extended games you could take weeks to get through the season. I would usually skip all of that and just do tactics and watch key highlights in the game just to save time and would usually take around 10/15 hours to get through a season. Easy enough game to just pick up a few games now and again. As I’m not a gamer, I’ve always wondered how time-consuming this game is?

2018 is unreal. Just started as Ajax aim to win champions league. Last one I bought was 20 absolutely hated it Var etc no funI can't imagine me getting this one. I have owned nearly every FM and championship manger(think 2 of then I didn't get) have about ten years of them ony steam account. I bought fm21 but not put much time into it, most of them have 500 hours+. I find it is getting more and more in depth and just too much work. I think for me it peaked around 2015 where it had enough depth to be interesting but not too overly complicated, I can't imagine how difficult it would be for somebody who has never played them before playing fm22 for the first time.
Have you set it so Scott finds and arranges transfers? I've done that but the players have been bang average so far!I managed to get them up first season (via a play off final victory).
Payero and Siliki are strong as central midfield two. Sporar got goals (and automatically transfers at the end of the first if promoted, real-life contract clause must appear in the game also).
Finding life in the top flight a bit more difficult mind! Scott signed a few South American wingers who can hopefully be moved on for decent money once improved.
Signed Tarique Fosu from Brentford in the Champo, in and out of the side but got a hattrick in the play off so all good
Wilder has gone to Bristol City and Howe to Cardiff on mine, and ten Hag has gone to Newcastle, but I've disabled the first transfer window and they're 18th currentlythanks I’ll have to run steam to get the full thing now
wonder how long before wilder is added ( and Howe)
Who are boros best players on it?
will save me faffing around trying them all out in friendlies
You could ask my ex-gf but she's not returning my calls anymore since I put 500+ hours into FMAs I’m not a gamer, I’ve always wondered how time-consuming this game is?

You just stick to your SubbuteoI guess this computer game lark is what makes you lot think you know about football....?
It doesn't !!!!
I think just because they get Middlesbtough to the Champions League final in 3 seasons they think Warnock should have done the same or get the sack. You just stick to your Subbuteo
