Five things that Irritate me about modern day football....

1. Not running out of the tunnel and booting the ball in the air, instead shaking hands in the name of fair play before cheating for 90 mins.
2. players placing the ball just off the line of the quadrant for corners, and the linesman checks, as if it really gives some sort of advantage.
3. Stupid phrases that mean nothing to real old school football fans like 'false number 9, transition, recycle the ball'
4. too much coverage meaning kids supporting players rather than clubs.
5. no more flood light pylons in the corner of the grounds.

1. clubs announcing signings with promotional videos

2. the media acting like transfer deadline day is still exciting even though the novelty wore off at least 10-12 years ago

3. also players “respectfully” not celebrating when scoring against former clubs

4. endless newly invented statistics that say little but are talked about endlessly

5. Man City and fans who still act like they’re some plucky little underdog challenging the status quo….😉
5a. Kevin De Bruyne
5b. Erling Haaland
5c. Phil Foden
5d. The fact that John Stones doesn’t annoy me.

1. Real Madrid
2. Fabrizio Romano
3. Plastic global fans
4. People wanting big clubs to leave and join a super league with the naive idea that it would somehow make football better for the clubs that remained.
5. The cost of football.

Agents fees
Faking injury
Diving
Trying to get an opponent booked or sent off then claiming in the media they would never do it to a fellow professional
Absolute disrespect of referees and officials

And the ABSOLUTE WORST .... "undisclosed fee"

Oh, and Neil Warnock

1. “You’ve seen **** now **** off home”
2. Filming the game to put it on YouTube/Twitch etc
3. Smoke Bombs/Pyros
4. Ones who defend their club at every decision
5. Madri

1. Plastic fans spending the whole game filming it rather than actually watching it.
2. Plastic fans
3. Astronomical Players and agents fees which means the average fan gets rinsed at every, single opportunity.
4. The loan system and how the big clubs can stockpile young players.
5a. TV pundits who are incoherent and devoid of personality
5b. The wide acknowledgement that football was invented in 1992
5c. Finishing 4th just to get the the CL £££££ - seen as a bigger achievement than winning something.
5d. Chelsea and everything to do with the club. Suggs "possibly" being an exception.🤔

Seems to have been invented for “Lads” to drink it at the match or on the train to games
I don’t see it being drank much anywhere else
Hmmm its pretty popular.

I mean, is it any different to any other mid-strength, macro-produced lager?

Suggs is one of the main reasons I hate Chelsea tbh. If someone had handed me a shotgun when I was a 14 year old watching him do that awful song at Wembley before Di Matteo's goal, I'd have happily used it and served time.
Oooooohhhhh, dodged that - we didn't get to our seats until a few mins before k.o.

I don't mind Suggs tbh, he is actually a genuine fan from boyhood......got sacked from Madness in the early days for bunking off Saturday afternoon rehearsals to go to Stamford Bridge.....so at least he can't be accused of being a celebrity plastic.

No Bob Mortimer like 👍

Suggs was decent in Madness, when he went solo I started to really dislike him.

Him doing the Chelsea 97' song particularly irked me as well. Mainly because the song was utter *****.
