Add to that the profit from food, drink etc on the day, with minimal extra wages going out.

Feel a bit bad for Plymouth Argyle fans, but that's football.

That said, I was impressed with PA when we played them at their place, I hope they don't go down this season.

Thanks for that very important news. I hadn’t realise any of that before your post. Now I am truly enlightened. I shall think of this when I’m watching the game on Saturday wondering how we’re going to pay for him or how many expected pre-assists he’s going to get next season.
 
I don't feel sorry for PA fans, I'm a bit harsh on that . I feel delighted for us though, cracking late chrimbo prezzie. I mean he's only on loan to PA and they would have known his contract was up in May24 therefore Jan being the last time AV could get any dosh for him unless offering a new contract. Maybe they were gambling on offering him up a deal when free in the summer. Too late

Just meant in general really.

Lost their manager, losing their best player ( although he’s on loan) and also talk of Whittaker leaving. Seem a decent club Plymouth.

Delighted Azaz is coming to us. Excellent player
