We haven’t been getting results or scoring enough goals , he is one of the players we need to be scoring so any criticism isn’t completely unjustified . Now his performances look like there getting rewarded with goals and that latte assist was top draw even better with lattes class finish .
The championship is a great league for developing players and azaz could well be ready for a step above for the experienced this time next yr . The could see Doak coming back for another season also . It’s obviously early days but we’ve just increased our seasons goals for by about 50% in 2 games . Now let’s cement our place in the top 6

Were the joint top scorers in the whole division, and top for chances created, Azaz is virtually top for creating chances out of about 500 players in the championship, as he has been from pretty much the start of the season.
I suppose some criticism of him for not scoring enough goals is fair, but I think the criticism of him in general has been completely unjustified.
Stuff like “clearly not good enough “ is complete tosh.

I think he needs to improve his strength on the ball , looks to be getting shrugged of it a fair bit , and would help us keep it when we are under pressure
