Finn Azaz - Best player in the Championship

Azaz was a joy to watch yesterday and his goal was class born from real confidence.
Doak is a special talent who enables the space others can use.
I was really pleased for Conway yesterday, he played really well and took two different opportunities very classily.
But I thought Hackney was fabulous and is the most valuable player we own.
Great too to see Fry return. He looked very good in every way.

He's almost certainly aware that his next booking is a ban.

Same for Doak and Edmundson.

They've all been carrying 4 yellows.

They're free and clear if they get through the Burnley matches without being booked.

That's the beauty of having a player like Doak in the team. The opposition have no choice but to double up on him and it frees up space for others.

Traore was exciting to watch but the big difference between Doak and Traore is that Doak has the intelligence to pass to a teammate when he's being doubled up on, rather than trying to take both players on, or he'll look to play a one-two and get in behind.

Doak is on 3 yellows and the other two only need to get through the Burnley game without getting booked.

Doak is on 4 yellows.

Booked against Sunderland, Stoke, Bristol City and QPR.

I'd literally just edited the comment to include the Leeds match because I'd seen somebody saying 2 games on Twitter and I assumed I'd mixed up the numbers.
But yeah, 19 games and they're safe.

Apologies, TeaCider, you are quite correct. I saw a stat over the weekend that he had 3 but on checking you are right.
 
Azaz is certainly one of the top Championship players - hard to believe nearly 50% of this Board wanted him dropped in September!
 
Hes playing really well, I dont like going over the top on the players" best player" is relative for lots of reasons. Long way to go yet.

Totally agree on Hackney. He just oozed class yesterday.
