We have loads of academy players and very few will make it at the Boro never mind Chelsea.

Sounds about right, 1 player every 2 years actually plays in the first team

It’s a gamble, but at 16, even big club youth players are not earning 20k. They get that when they sign their first pro contract. We’re probably talking about 2k a week here, instead of £500 with us.
