I think I missed only one home match that season and got to plenty away. A fabulous team....happy days

We had far different qualities to those of his later Irish side.
We were faster, stronger and more skilful, and by some way, than the other teams in the division.
We dominated games, we were the best side. Ireland were up against better sides, their style had to be different.

Was that the first season Boro used the white band. I seem to remember hearing somewhere that it was Jack Charlton that introduced it?

Yes, I believe the strip was all red for the 72/73 season.
