I've only gotten into 2 new bands in like 7/8 years, I need to up my repertoire!
There's nothing to heavy, anything from 80's Thrash to Deathcore

Recommend some filthy riffs?

Rival Sons. Not metal, but proper rock. Seen them more than a few times. All of their albums are worth a listen.

Are you looking for contemporary? You familiar with Architects at all? They've been touted as the next big thing for ages. They're not exactly my taste, but they have something about them.

Trivium will forever be my favourite.
Whitechapel, Sylosis, Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth among many many more.
The two I got into last year were Slaughter To Prevail and Electric Callboy (Reccomend the latter, Hilarious, Heavy and all round amazing)

I have seen that seen that track. Nita Strauss was taking a bit of grief at that time as she had stopped working with Alice Cooper and started touring with Demi Lovato.
