He was the biggest tool ever. Better without his bollox to be honest.
From memory he tried to predict new seasons opening fixtures for a few years in a row and got it so spectacularly wrong he was laughed off the board.
He's probably still trying to fix his ego, which matches his forehead in being huge.

I think he knew Downing or definitely knew someone who knew Downing well. Didn't like being questioned about his sources though. He used to get at least as much wrong as he got right.

Don't know about that, but I do remember him being absolutely crucified by a load of teenage girls on Twitter. Someone posted it on the old board...calling him a "skeevy twåt" IIRC
