Can't tell whether you're winding me up or not here because I started drinking at half time and I haven't stopped yet. You just used the quote function to quote my post back at me you silly billy. We didn't have that on the old board and I don't use Facebook or other social media so it took me a while to be able to work out how to do that because I'm ancient and broken and addled.

Look at how well that idea worked for oneboro, on non match days they dont even have 10 messages a day. Would rather have an active forum where you skip past the posts your not interested in

I find the easiest way to use the quote function is to click the button highlighted below. This lets you treat the qoute as a piece of text and helps stop you accidentally removing the [QUOTE ] markup. You can also mess with the post number which changes where the link to the quote goes for some hilarious japery.

I used to love a bit of hilarious japery in my now very distant youth. I can hardly even muster up a little bit of high jinks these days. Old age is a b****d.

Absolutely true . There was one poster on here who mercifully hasn’t been seen for a while, there may be more, who never posted anything about Boro or even football, every post he has ever done is about politics and only HIS politics, which were not up for debate or discussion it was a party political broadcast on his beliefs and frankly he was effing boring.

We have an “ignore poster” button (which is very useful) but I would love to see an “ignore thread” button which would enable you to automatically erase certain threads with certain words and phrases in.

I think we all know who you're talking about here. I think he's been put on the naughty step for the moment but I'm pretty convinced that he's still here with his other accounts. He's just being nice for now so that they don't get banned too.
