FAO Red Faction

I can see their point on this and feel the club is only paying lip service to a lot of the things suggested at these forums unless it benefits them. You only have to read the forum notes to see that.
Exeter ticket discount, membership scheme and soon to be announced Leeds away ticket details will be all directly as a result of work between the Forum and the Football Club.
Sometimes you take two steps back and make one step forward,
I really do hope Red Faction return to take up a seat around the table. I really hope we haven't fallen out, am sure we haven't. We are surely stronger with one voice.

I witnessed the RF lads after the match, but it's clear that there was lots of idiots form both sides going at it on Saturday from what I've seen on social media. Guess that's what happens when we haven't had a home game for 3 weeks and there's plenty of coke going around.

On another note, the amount of people smoking weed at half time is ridiculous. Its all you can smell out the back of the North and GRFZ.

give yourselves a big pat on the back. everyone round yvonne fergusons for a parmo

Did RF leave MSF over the club lying about consulting forum members? Timing seems to fit, and I think Rob posted something about the forum being divided over the appropriate way to respond.

Without being privvy to the inner workings of the club's financial hub, it does seem they have a target number for ST sales (let's just say £12m) and that's job done. Everything else a bonus. So a walk-up for £31, that's +£31. Pat's on the back all round.

But what happens if you sell two tickets for £26? Chuck a kids in for £10. Could be an extra £10-20 in the concourse. I dunno........

🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

As for these little feral scrotes latching onto Boro - plenty of fans have witnessed their behaviour, seems it's booze/coked up d*ckhead behaviour away, more violent at the Riverside as home turf, safety in numbers etc. Absolute fooking embarrassment to the club .......but it's been allowed to go on for a good few seasons.

I think it's a bit of a reach to say the membership scheme is a result of the Fans Forum alone. That drum has been banged over social media by many for years. I know it's been on the supporters forum agenda for five years because i went back and had a look.

I walked back to the station with a couple of Birmingham supporters yesterday. They had been enjoying the game - until the last few minutes. Got just past the college when we were subjected to loads of abuse from young kids. A few things thrown as well. What makes people do this? its just stupid.

PS They dont have much hope with Rooney, but hoping they will attract some better signings in the future.
We were also on the train back to York with the majority being Birmingham fans in good spirits sharing views about the game & the season going forward. It’s how it should be.

Ask any fan of any club if they want cheaper tickets and the answer will be yes, that doesn't make it viable though. If they want to press for cheaper tickets then they can only do that through the fans forum. If that is their only point of order then so be it, if their are other things they want to talk about to enhance the experience then they've just walked away from the opportunity to do that which seems churlish.
My reply wasn’t just about cheap tickets but feel the fans forum is just paying lip service to those that attend. Rob mentioned membership, etc. and bar than Exeter tickets, the rest works in the clubs favour.

All this though deserves it own thread and is derailing what roofies thread is trying to achieve.

Unfortunately, I’ve witnessed a couple of similar incidents over the years with the same group of younger looking lads. Their ages just range from about 14-18 (although probably a bit older now).

The ones I know of are in the South Stand as I used to see them all the time when I used to bounce between South/North stand for games. I don’t think they’re part of the official RF - certainly weren’t at the time.

Two occasions I’ve spotted them attacking opposition fans. One game was before a Millwall game after the rail crossing. A couple of younger lads ran from behind the Millwall fans and smacked a couple of lads in the face and quickly put 15-20 yards between them and the Millwall fans. Surprisingly they didn’t react and just continued walking on whilst getting loads of taunts and abuse from about 15 lads who looked like they were barely out of school.

The other occasion was a home game v Preston season before last after the match. There were a couple of Preston fans walking towards the first underpass. Again, exactly the same kind of attack. Ran from behind, bust this lads nose. They then circled him and his brother, trying to get a reaction.

At this point me and a few other Boro fans intervened and told them to **** off. We ended up walking the 2 lads back to the Car Park near the cinema. We got talking and they were spot on, really nice lads.

The attacks have been completely unwarranted very cowardly. Cheap shots from behind, strength in numbers etc. boils my ****.

Absolute scum bags. Hopefully the perpetrators from the weekend get caught / banned for life.
Before we start throwing around unfounded accusations and personal opinions, smearing Red Faction, young people in general, or anyone else, I`m sure IF those involved in any "incident" at the Station on Saturday will be dealt with.

If, on the other hand, you are talking about the gangs of "grown up" middle-aged men who attacked Birmingham fans next to the Riverside Car Park, in full view of women and children trying to exit the ground, or those organised middle-aged men [with no Boro colours] who attacked the Derby and Millwall fans - I concur with your sentiments.

I would politely ask - did you report what you allege to have witnessed at the time?
What was the outcome.
If you didnt. Why not?

May I add, that Red Faction and the lads are always the very last to leave the ground - up to 30+ minutes after the final whistle - whereby the vast majority of away fans have departed, as have other Boro fans.

I dont speak for, nor represent, Red Faction, but its wrong and unfair to smear them with our own prejuduces and stereotypes. In my view, it all actually amounts to jealousy, because they got of their arzes and have made a really positive difference to matchdays - whilst others sat on their arzs and moaned and did nothing.

Having a fanbase that is aligned with the club is doing things in the fans favour, but that has to be aligned to financial reality.

The club have open discourse, that is a positive, but fans can't expect to get everything they want all the time.

Agreed, this should be a separate thread, back to the key thread, the scrotes need weeding out, we don't need their 'support', I want the matchday experience to be full of fun, humour, chatting to people home or away fans. I want kids to go and enjoy watching the game and not have to watch idiots battering each other outside the ground. I want drug dogs just through the turnstiles on a regular basis, and people arrested and have their season cards removed. Enjoy the game, behave, sing for your team and support them positively come what may. It's not hard, it's not too much to ask. If you want to do coke, go do it at a nightclub, if you want to fight join a boxing club, but most of all, grow the feck up.

Most of the fat bald fisticuffs on Saturday havent got a lot more "growing up" to do - apart from mentally.
Looks like a sniff of Charlie was all that was keeping them going.
