Let's put this into context Geoff - last week Mark Motley was hounded out by social media. We were also made aware that the climate of this place can stress readers and posters. We appealed to everyone to think and post responsibly... if you like. Newy was communicated with privately - Newy chose to publish that private communication on the site. The other banned poster is an old friend of mine.
Few bans are permanent - Newy's was lifted after a couple of days. But at the time we wanted to tone down the aggression. Perceived aggression can take many shapes and forms and over 50 replies on one thread can seem intimidating.
It was a very bad week, last week. Mark's ill treatment wasn't on here, by the way. But a little bit of control cannot do anyone any harm.

Fair enough. I just meant he wasn't like some old bloke in his 70s, although I suppose that wouldn't totally prohibit him from having kids. (No offence to any old blokes in their 70s 😁 ).

How old were you though? - 34 and 39 for me. Were you later? The last thing I wanted in my 20s was kids, so I don't regret it tbh.

Same … the last thing I wanted was kids in my 20’s … or 30’s.

Managed it in both decades 🤣

Interesting. I'm now in my 40s with two youngsters and I suppose they make me feel a bit younger. But it is just an illusion, cos I actually can't physically cope with them at my age!
