Strange why should drug laws be specifically different for football to say going to festivals or any other experience. Bizarre and unnecessary legislation. Upto 10 years for possession that's utterly ridiculous.

Seems to me that sensible policing would deal with this issue best. There's already rules in place to ban people and there's simply not enough policing of the actual issues going on.

Cocaine use at football is a massive issue. Boro away days are a joke for coked up bellends.

Distraction to take away the fact that the police are not resourced effectively and I would suggest, working with them each day, are not able to focus their energies where they should be

Those things may have also been a huge contributing factor, but if half the crowd hadn’t been on the sniff it might not have been quite as embarrassing as it ended up being.

Actual police on the scene is a bigger deterrent than heavy sentencing. Heavy sentencing has never worked in relation to drug use in this country.

Good that's what's needed. Tying being caught at a ground with banning orders makes sense. Sentencing people for years imprisonment doesn't. Putting people through the prison system for years and the associated costs is completely illogical.

just beat me to it, its get caught with drugs and get a banning order of between 3 and 10 years, lower end for posession higher for supply. I cant see the problem.

If you cant get through a couple of hours without snorting that sh1te up your nose you shouldnt be anywhere near a football game.

Fair enough I don’t have the stats on that. Just saying why drug use in that particular setting may be more dangerous than other situations.
