* F.A. Cup 4th Round: Manchester Utd v Middlesbrough. Match-day Thread *

Had this been last season then I'd be agreeing that VAR robbed them to be honest. However, given the change in the law (which very few seemed to be aware of, none more so than the commentary team), it was the correct decision to allow it.

Player after player stepped up and each time I thought "please, don't let (this player) be the scapegoat".

Payero - then Tav - then three of our defenders, none of whom ever score, let alone with their feet - and they ALL nailed their pens. I would've been heartbroken to think of any one of them missing their kick.

Fantastic.

Is Peltier a footballing God with laser like precision or was it a lucky wack?

I think I enjoyed his the most, closely followed by Tav's.

Incredibly proud to be a Boro fan tonight. What a performance, Chris Wilder really has transformed us. Tonight just encapsulates everything that is good about this club, and then some. The good times are back.

I do wonderr if those suggesting tonights game was unimportant and QPR was "much" more important, would stand up and be counted now?

Sol just stepped up off the bench and stuck it in the net.
What a man.
18 months ago he darent even imagine a night like this.
So many sub-plots tonight:
Jonesy three years ago was playing for Tooting and Mitcham.
Dunc was knackered and on the scrap heap at Blunderland.
Anfernee was at Charlton [I think]
........
Amazing result.
What a team
What a manager(y)

Thought id won 100 quid on boro win as well but checked account and it was for win at full time only not including penalties...schoolboy error 🙄
