Manchester United have confirmed their plans to mark the 64th anniversary of the Munich Air Disaster on Friday night.

Ralf Rangnick will lay a wreath at Old Trafford ahead of the fourth round FA Cup tie with Middlesbrough.

United's players will wear black armbands in the match to remember the anniversary of the 1958 disaster.

The Stretford End is also prepared with a giant banner, which will include the words: ‘We’ll never die’.

“This is our closest game to the anniversary of the Munich Air Disaster and, as is customary, the club will be marking the occasion ahead of kick-off," Rangnick said. “I have always admired how this club pays tribute every year to such a major incident in its history.

Won £200 (found money) on the horses today. Looked at the Boro and banged £100 at 19/2 (enhanced) won and £100 (6/1) outright result. Come on Boro

Pretty excited myself. It will be really interesting to see how the new style of play stacks up against a very good prem side. I hope Jones tears their backing apart

I'm looking forward to this. I don't feel any nerves because the pressure is all on them.

Will be brilliant if we can get through but I'm not going to be too disappointed if we don't, as long as we give a good account of ourselves.
Same here, all I ask tonight is be competitive and give them a game and do the fans proud. Anything else is a bonus. Would love to win though.

Nice one for the posting that article. One of my all time favourite Riverside games.
