I remember Dominic Sandbrook saying last year that Trump was not technically a fascist because he had no territorial ambitions on any other country and he didn’t have a private army or ‘gestapo’.

It's not right that any President has the right to unilateral decision making, and autocratic powers, at his fingertips. Trump can order his military to war without approvals, appoint a non-elected billionaire to manage The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) and sack people, decide another sovereign country's fate, plan to annexe other countries, pardon himself and others for serious crimes, ad finitum. I hope so but from the outside it appears to be totally opposite he seems to be doing exactly what he wants, rest of world just seem to be creeping up to him, very little fight back
