Will the public - especially the Johnson fan club - see that they have been "Done" - not "Brexit"!

I don't think that's what will happen Harry.

Had Johnson sacked the sack, maybe. As things stand the electorate don't understand 37 billion it's meaningless to most. What they do understand is a man abandoning his wife and children.

This will reflect badly on the entire party.

I do hope in pmq's starmer makes this as personal as he can get away with.

That's probably true, but it really shouldn't be. Unfortunately for reasons I simply cannot grasp a lot of the population seem determined to give Johnson the sympathy vote time and again. "Bless him, he's trying his best".

"It's not his fault he keeps getting let down by others". Etc.

Almost as if Johnson isn't ultimately responsible for the recruitment and performance of his own ministers and the poor man has just been lumbered with job of PM against his wishes.

Ironically this government is obsessed with performance management of civil servants. Because yeah, it's officials competence that's the real issue with this government.

Good point . This is where we’ll see the true calibre of Starmer as BoJo is on the plate for him . He’s got to go in all guns blazing and tear them all a new @### holes . A bit like the passion in spoof video correspondence above but obviously without the expletives .
If Starmer doesn’t tear them to threads , I’ll deem him frankly hopeless and Labour toothless . Over to you Sir Starmer

Not in Johnson’s particular case - his cheating doesn’t seem to have affected his ratings at all.
 
Bet you what you like BoJo will flick on his naughty little urchin schoolboy button and grinningly gives more back with little wink at the camera. Mail readers will see him as a gladiator . 😡

Maybe, but I think Johnson strangely benefits from the scenario that millions upon millions of people can’t quite face up to the fact they elected a complete clown and chancer as PM.

That Amersham by election was the first sign that voters are mobilising against him.
