A 30 something seasoned professional with hundreds of games for Leicester, Man Utd, and England shouldn't be making careless, silly mistakes like he does. If I was playing next to him I'd always be on edge, I wouldn't pass to him, I wouldn't be comfortable.

You can criticise whoever you want, I can't stop you. What a silly thing to say.
What I am saying is not passing to a teammate because you think their gash might have stifled your game and limited your options on the playing field.

It's hardly like we're living through a halcyon era of centre halves. Only the Dutch and the Portuguese have stand outs for me. Even the French don't look brilliant there.
England have the best centre forward, the best young midfielder band class everywhere else. We'll be competitive.
