Errea Gone & Shop Sale from tomorrow

They also have one at Cribbs Causeway (Bristol). not sure how many Boro shirt's they're going to sell from out of there though.

Makes me laugh this sometimes. Its not Errea, Hummel , adidas , that are the issue , its how the club deals with them.

What seems to happen is , we have yr 1 everything's fine to fanfare , yr 2 supply issues start , quality drops , teamwear drops supply issues start, Supplier takes the blame publicly. Yr 3 is a disaster , retros are no longer made by the kit partner , mr eBay man has more stock than the club by march, ( IMO this really is embarrassing)

With Adidas, Hummel and now errea , they all have departed in a bad manner , but Imo they get treated badly from the middle of yr 2 after taking the blame for issues . ( It may be them who knows , but the pattern suggests its not)

Castore well, lets hope they are ready for what's coming, bad rep from the start wont help from a pre determined opinion. I fully expect issues from day one , and maybe this only last a yr or 2 .

Rinse repeat.

By the way also , erreas quality on some of their teamwear is much better than our stuff. that says everything. I sometimes wonder if its the supplier being told to use the cheapest fabric. The bespoke training gear on the other hand has been much better quality , typical errea sizing though means that once you go above a Medium then you need to upsize 2x at least , a 5xl errea hoodie would be similar to a 3xl adidas.

The other issue is every shirt has been made with the same material all 3 seasons , just go take a look at them all you will see what I mean.

With Hummel , their 1st shirt was by far the best bespoke to boro , just the sponsor application ruined it , along with the lockdown home. all the others used the same template with colour changes . other than printed sponsor on the 1st season, these will stand the test of time quality wise . The hummel training wear will also last the distance .

Adidas get a lot of flack , but Boro did very very well with their template management, our homes were pretty much unique to the club, granted the aways were templates, but we only had 3 teamwear shirts , people always think it was more. 2nd season Blue , the white 3rd and the final away shirt. for the length of time we were with the m , quality wise it was by far the best, the teamwear will last years and years . yes it was all template but their quality shines out. Ohh and the standard worldwide sizing of their products makes them easy to buy without trying on.

Just my thoughts , I really hope it improved and the kit partner doesn't turn sour after the 2nd season . Fingers crossed, then everthing else crossed.

We had 9 seasons with adidas.. the first season was shyte.. but after that were fine. Some of the best kits we’ve had tbf.. the Ramsden logo ruined three seasons home and away mind. Hummel stated off well with the first home shirt..

Errea went off the boil imo.. that green 3rd shirt was a bit wavy.. Reminds me of the white and gold kit they did before we got rid last time.

This time with the different colour away kits.. we should have just sold them as limited editions.

Let’s hope Umbro do better.. every opportunity to make some really good kits.. should be like shooting fish in a barrel.

There was a shop near me called Sale Lab that bought in gear in bulk and sold it dirt cheap. They had loads of Castore stuff, full tracksuits for £5.

Didn’t shift any of it. Quality was appalling.

If that's the case then it sounds perfect for MFC retail. Cheap tat and they will charge a fortune for it. It's how the store operates.

It’s not Umbro though is it?

rumours are flying round that it is Castore and they own the rights to Umbro in the UK..

We should never have left Hummel.

All 4 home kits were fine to great under them.

Errea only managed two very average home kits and one truly horrendous one (last season's).
In fairness, all their away kits have been great, but it's the home kits I judge on.

No enthusiasm about Castore, but that's largely because of all the negative publicity they've had.

canny home kit.. made the effort, chance for a blackout kit missed imo... third shirt was a rip off and should have been red detailing.

I get the reference on the home shirt.. the away kit was phenomenal.

back to the old school for the home shirt, the standard for our away and a decent attempt at a third.. still a bit meh

a canny paring.. would have like to have seen more of a photo style effect for the transporter bridge and the away kit was missing a bit more gold detailing.. a gold pinstripe in this would have legitimately raised it to iconic shirt.

clearly a nod to our first season at the riverside.. could have been a good anniversary shirt

pfft.. young kids seemed to like it

half of something and half of nothing.. the sleeves showed potential. White kit with red detailing.. classic.. still cant get to grips with it tho.

fantastic design here.. future classic.. great treatment of the sponsor to incorporate a band. lots of design cues picked up from previous shirts.

wrestling with the sponsor to incorporate a band.. the anniversary of the band? the better the shirts get the worse the badge looks.. infuriating why we have stuck with it for so long season after season.. it's just shyte.. get rid ffs
