Errea back next year?

Didn't we sign a 5 year deal with Hummel in 2018? So we've still got 22/23 season with them I'd presume?

Rumour is we're breaking early because of supply issues.

Errea as the kit manufacturer and Cazoo as the main sponsor.
Can't say I like many of the Errea kits I've seen lately, but hopefully we're pleasantly surprised.

I keep hearing that Errea are coming back next year to make our kits. Either Errea or Adidas but apparently a lot of local businesses who provide kits to grass roots teams are pushing errea stock for next season which seems to make sense if they are going to be back in the area. As a bit of a shirt collector this saddens me, Errea quality of the 90's was always shocking, its almost impossible to pick up a 90's shirt without a pull here and there due to the material. Also it would link us more to Derby!!

I feel Hummel have been our best sponor for quality and designs, I believe there is a major issue regarding delivery times with Hummel hence why clubs are parting ways with them.

I remember when Adidas was announced some years back I was over the moon to get the three stripes but then realised how dull the designs where and how you'd often bump into teams with the same design because Adidas only have a few templates, madness really considering the size of the brand!
..3.

Our best shirts have come from Errea.

Errea in the last few seasons was poor. Poor design choices combined with cack new badge and relegation.

No, we’re not linked to Derby in any way.

Hummel prefer Southampton and Everton. Not too keen on some of their design choices tbh.. or not being able to buy kit from the club shop.

The green wine gum logo from ramsdens spoilt the adidas kits.

At least its not Joma, Jako, Carbrini, Macron, Pony, Castore, Xara, Lotto or Mizuno
What about going 80s old school? Le Coq Sportif, Patrick, Admiral, Kappa?

Mind you , i just read that Bukta are still in existence

From top second reply down...I agree that nostalgia and a yearning for Retro and the Robson era means people look back on these as our best kits and I tend to agree but the quality was terrible. Granted times have changed so hopefully shirt material is better but the older shirts used to click and pull so easily and end up looking tatty.

We suffered two relegations during the early stages of Errea, years before the badge change...

You can ONLY buy Boro shirts from the club shop? nowhere else...

I didnt not like the green logo either but that was only two seasons (probably the worst two seasons we have had for a while)! What ruined the Adidas kits for me was having to pick from limited templates the same as other clubs choose from

Castore are a very good brand, their stuff is much better quality than most other out there. They've started making golf gear too and it looks decent.

We still have one more year with 32Red/UNIBET.

Hundreds of non league clubs have used them for years so the quality has clearly improved as most of these clubs can't afford a new kit every season.

But as someone else mentioned I'd like us to explore a relationship with Umbro or even Puma.
Exactly. No big club would go anywhere near unfashionable garbage like Errea.

I've got to say i prefer the style of the Hummel gear and it's more personalised to us as a club but the quality is nowhere near as good as Adidas was. The quality of Errea was shocking from 94 up to about 2000 but from that point I thought the shirts seemed like they were made from better material and didn't click like they did in the 90's. The 1995-1998 shirts were particularly bad for it.

Didn't we get relegated in an Adidas strip under Southgate?

Yeah sorry you are right, but Adidas had been announced before relegation, so Errea had no hit to their quality because of the relegation.
