I am the only one not understanding the hype from last night? I'm sure he's a good player, but I didn't think he stood out.

He did skin Ayling but it led to nothing. Other than that his wayward cross was put in to the back of his own net by Giles.

I thought he dominated Ayling and created quite a bit. Ayling probably isn't the best benchmark to measure how good Le Fee against though in his current form.

He also put the ball across in the build up to the first goal. Didn't he.
But he tortured Ayling all night and created their goals. Very very good performance.

That kind of it. Ayling has been poor for a while now.

I was more concerned when Roberts picked the ball up.

All about opinions I guess!

He’s new. While a player of Ayling’s experience shouldn’t be getting skinned, in his defence, I doubt they’ll have done much research on him. Once full backs get familiar with his little box of tricks, we’ll see how good he really is.

This through ball for the one on one was a standard pass if we're being honest.

Like I said, I'm sure he's a great player, but I think people are getting carried away about last night.
I thought his pass for their first was similar to Hackney's. He plays it through the defence with the right amount of weight on it.

He never set the world alight last night but you can see there is a player in there.

Yes I felt it was notable that we doubled up on Roberts contrary to what usually happens on the left, while ayling had little help.

Similar to Hackney's but not as good.
Le Fee played it between two defenders into space. Good but pretty bog standard.
Hackney threaded it through about 4 players and made space where it looked like there was none. It was an incredibly good pass.

Was Hackney's ball a standard pass?
I thought Hackney's was much better, but I know this will look like rose tinted glasses.

I feel like we held a much higher line and our centre halves were doing different things. One trying to play offside, the other holding a line a couple of yards ahead.

I get what you are saying I just feel that both passes are similar.

I think you’ll find that’s led not to what the game of football calls nothing but to what the game of football calls “a goal”.
