which RB would you drop to put him in the squad, and is he better all round, considering attacking and defensive contribution against better teams, than Trippier or Kyle Walker, I'd put him on a par with Wan Bissaka?I’d still pick him for England though.
The thing that needs to be taken into account here is the media darling liverpool superstar, league winner, the kind of personality that believes he should start every match and get disruptive if he isn't? Or is he prepared to sit in the squad behind superior RBs and only play against weaker sides? How would he react at playing well against a weak opponent and getting a couple of assists only to be dropped against a dangerous RWer?Personally, I'd take him but I'd play him in games in which we're likely to have most of the ball.
Against Croatia and potentially Perisic, I don't think I'd start him.
Great post, Perisic is an absolute nightmare.Neville hit the nail on the head during MNF.
If you asked Jota, Ronaldo, Mbappe, Sane, Hazard (all players who play in that left channel and would be up against our RB) who they'd rather play against out of Trippier, Walker, TAA, James or Wan-Bissaka.....they'd all say, TAA every day.
TAA is incredible going forward and has the best cross and pass of any of our RBs, no question.
But at the end of the day, his main aim is to defend.
Personally, I'd take him but I'd play him in games in which we're likely to have most of the ball.

Hard to say actually, haven’t seen anything of Trippier this season - obviously he’s done brilliant to be top of the league, and Atletico don’t have passengers.which RB would you drop to put him in the squad, and is he better all round, considering attacking and defensive contribution against better teams, than Trippier or Kyle Walker, I'd put him on a par with Wan Bissaka?
