I reckon tonight's game is a bit of a 'must win'. Having lost to Hungary away we definitely need three points tonight.

Being played up at Molineux, so not Fortress Wembley! Come on England!

Looking forward to it.

I'd say it's important for Southgate that we win, and win well.

The dissent is getting louder and louder right now.

There's a real chance of relegation if we drop points again, and our 2 remaining matches in September are against Germany and Italy.

We don't want to be going in to the World Cup on a run of poor performances, no open play goals and a relegation, with many supporters questioning the manager.

I think this tournament ahead of a World Cup is ludicrous. We should be playing friendlies, trying a lot of players and different formations with limited expectation as the result isn't the main priority instead.

Harry Kane and some of the players who played regular Champions League football should be given the entire summer off from football until pre-season training starts again for their respective clubs.

You can see that a lot of countries and players are not taking this tournament seriously at all and it should have been scrapped in my opinion.

Agree with all of that. Avoiding relegation is the main thing. Would be great to pick up a win against either Italy or Germany too mind. Still all to play for.

The negativity with Southgate grows with panic and fickleness of football fans who expect England to smash their opposition in every game. Poor those these games have been players for me look apathetic and disinterested from too much football. Roll on the actual close season when they can recharge batteries.

I agree, but we get constant outrage from people when England do play friendlies.

That friendlies do actually provide value to the national team doesn't seem to matter to them.

England really need a performance tonight. The players have looked jaded and lacking urgency, but hopefully a good vocal support will help. Is there any news on Foden? Hopefully he's recovered and can play.

They should really have sacked off this iteration of Nations League, post pandemic and with the ludicrous upcoming winter World Cup.....but I expect UEFA have some TV contracts that have to be fulfilled?
