England - Front Foot or Back Foot?

Going to be an interesting Euros hopefully.
What should England do - 'Go for it' with an emphasis on attack with our prodigious forward line?
Or 'safety first' with two holders in midfield?

Ideally we'd have such highly skilled players and coaching that we'd seamlessly switch between the two.
As an England fan this seem to be the way continental teams seem to manage it. (eg, Croatia in last World Cup).

Or is this inferiority complex due to years and years of tournament disappointment?

I can understand the apprehension but would love to see us go on the attack.
I'd have all of the much discussed 'trio' of Grealish, Mount and Foden in there.
Rashford in there too.
4-2-3-1 with Mount and Rice in the middle.

Shame that we are going into tournament with doubts over slabhead and Henderson.
Thing this might mean Gareth is more protective of the back four

We lost the midfield against Croatia in the World Cup because we could not keep hold of the ball - so ball carrying midfielders will be key against them and they (Croatia) are older.

Looks like central midfield mix will be key for this game.
Is Henderson fit enough?
Could a 17yr old Bellingham flourish if given more game time?
Wouldn't be happy with Kalvin Phillips and Rice as DM duo - surely Phillips is seen as cover for Rice?
But Bellingham seems to have the energy to be 'box to box'.
Let's hope we find the right chemistry early and keep it going right through to the final.
