I didn't use a microwave until 2002.
It was during half time of England v Denmark.

Would the Newcastle House had a TV in 66.Ditto also 7. But my dad could have been in the Newcastle House.
I was a rough industrial painter at Casell works ICI back then & on that day 1982 I asked if I could leave early to see the France game, the forman said, yes I could leave at half 2, I then ran all the way home to West Lane, getting in just as the teams kicked off & in time for the fastest ever goalRan home from school in 1982 in time to see Bryan Robson put England ahead against France.....used to be the fastest World Cup goal I believe.

Neither have I, I was six in 66 but quite ill, I was put to bed for the final as wasn’t allowed in the light (??) there was a party downstairs.I’ve never seen England lift a trophy in my lifetime.
