Elephant in the room

Jones awful again today. Anonymous and a total passenger. Must be infuriating to play alongside.Hid constantly today and when he got the ball he lost possession or embarrassingly threw himself to the ground. We would be better off with 10 men than play Jones at the moment. At least then they wouldn’t pass to him so he can lose possession or rely / expect ihim to cover back - which he doesn’t, leaving them overran and exposed. I can’t believe people are still championing him after watching his past 30 games?

If he starts putting as much mental effort into beating his man as he does into falling over and conning the ref into giving him free kicks on the halfway line he might end up being the player we thought he was going to be. If not tell Crystal Palace and West Ham to send a stamped, addressed envelope along with their bids and they’ll have him in the first post in the New Year.

Lets steady the ship and not throw the baby out with the bath-water.
The whole group are playing poorly - with consistency.
Collectively they lack quality, leadership and intelligence - and one or two have been here too long for their own good.

Our ship was steady.. then we did throw the baby out with the bath water.

Its been riding the high rollers with a skeleton crew, but I was referring to people suggesting we off-load Jones, because hes having a bad patch.
Captain Carrick is just taking over the ship - but its looking like a P+O Ferry with agency staff at the moment.
We havent been "steady" which is why we are 21st in the league - on joint points with Coventry [who have fewer goals scored and have two games in hand].
It will get better.
Dry dock for the World Cup and relaunch the season there after.

HMS Warnock was sea worthy

Dijksteel—Fry—McNair—Bola

that looked fine.

Steffen looks more assured than Lumley..

Akpom and Muniz fancied more than Connolly & Balogun?

Giles with more plaudits than Taylor

Crooks—Howson—Tavernier
becomes
Hackney—Howson—McGree

With a back up of..

Luongo—Mowett—Boyd-Munce

Our midfield looks weaker with the loss of arguably our two most influential players.

No easy fix I’m afraid.. unless Stott—Fletcher—Willis are all the next big thing!!

HMS Warnock was full of worn - out old seamen.

Beat Man Utd & Spurs.. finished 7th with it.. then just weighed it in for scrap.
That was Captain Wilder - who overdid it on the Rum and blamed the Navigation Officer for his poor performance.
If it was D-Day he`d be heading towards the Cape of Good Hope and blaming the wind.....
