Eid Mubarak عيد مبارك

Wow, a post made in good faith is attacked by some of the less tolerant posters of this forum.

You carry on @r00fie1, we stand by all colours and creeds.
I post a lot on politics and expect to argue my case and be challenged.
You could easily be positioned as the intolerant one.
Tke your nonsense to your self if you don't like it questioned

You didn't argue anything, you literally referred to the teachings of Islam as "Medieval nonsense"

So would you wish people a Happy Easter on Ash Wednesday?

My Muslim neighbour said your Muslim friend must have felt sorry for you and was just being nice. They would never say Eid Mubarak before Eid al-Fitr.

My Muslim relative said what your Muslim neighbour said about his Muslim friend isn’t correct

I referred to organised religion as medieval nonsense.I didn't mention Islam.
If you read the whole paragraph I LITERALLY referred to organised religion, not any specific fairy tail.
But that won't fit your " I'm offended" narrative.
Hey, why don't you get god to smite me!.
Or, as God hasn't been keen on doing anything tangible in the last two millenia just get a few mates round to stone me to death?
Peace and ❤️.

We all have a right to express our views. Sadly, that right is not respected by some theists; whether Christian, Moslem, Hindu or Buddhist (I know that Buddhism is a non-theistic belief).
I am fervently atheist, but will happily discuss ontology, eschatology and the nature of belief in a respectful manner This is not always reciprocated.

I might be able to clear this up 😊
I lived in a Muslim country for almost 4 years
Ramadan Kareem is the official warm welcome for Ramadan
And
Eid Mubarak is the celebration for Eid

I agree - they could have chosen more obvious greetings to help us non Muslims 😂

They are not interchangeable either

بفضل من الله سبحانه وتعالى.
حيث يوجد الحزن
نرجو أن يكون هناك فرح ،
حيثما توجد حرب
فليكن هناك سلام.

By the grace of God.
Where there is sorrow,
let there be joy,
Where there is war,
let there be peace.

Al-Aqsa Mosque is a beautiful place within the Old Walled City of Jerusalem.
It is the third-holiest site in Islam.
When you go inside, it feels so big and peaceful.
