Yep, so, so wrongOn the other hand it would be much needed morale boosting entertainment, especially if it was on free to air.
It's more about money than fans anyway.
Hmm I doubt thatespecially if it was on free to air.
I get your statement about the ‘morale boosting’ but do you really think Rick Parry and co are looking at the well-being of the public. On the other hand it would be much needed morale boosting entertainment, especially if it was on free to air.

There is no way it will be shown for free, the league have commitments to Sky and co. Season ticket holders might get it for nothing.
It is all about money.
I just think you’ve gone fishing now.No I don't think they'll
Football is all about the money anyway. I don't care what their motivations are.
I for one would love to see match of the day back on the box. It could be a year and a half before we can have football matches played before crowds again. And when we do there won't be any over 70s diabetics or asthmatics in attendance.
I just think you’ve gone fishing now.
I watched the start of one of the Europa games and turned it off.It won’t be football though, not really as it will be sterile sanitised exercise purely a functional thing (did you see any of the serie a games played behind closed doors?)
It’s football for footballs sake.
..and fans were gathered wherever they could see from.Croatia v England was behind closed doors last year and it was horrible to watch.
Worse than a friendly.

I’ve said it before ( on a prev thread a few weeks ago) but I think we will be in trouble as we will have team compromised of if loanees ( what happens there) wantaways and let’s be honest not the most committed to the cause players.
I’d be worried I’ll be honest.
Come on you know it will never be on free to air telly if it comes to it. How would they make money on free to air TV?On the other hand it would be much needed morale boosting entertainment, especially if it was on free to air.

I tend to agree its with crowds or no games. (with season cancelled or current positions accepted as final)
Could the play offs be cancelled and go for top 3 after 46 games?. This would take about 3 weeks off the season's length.
Start 2020/21 late and cancel the League Cup and minor cups for 2020/21 and International friendlies, to shorten the season - people's lives are much more important.
VERY provisional plan
Season restart mid to late June
Season finish end July to early August
Start next season Mid September.
This assumes most of lock down finishes sometime in May
Most of China was in lock down for about 6/7 weeks if that can be used a valid model that would take over lock down to us around May 2nd/9th . Although in Wuhan/Hubei province it was more like 10 weeks that would take us to around 26th May, before players could even train together. I would be more tempted to go with a 10 week lock down.
If deaths are still happening (above isolated cases) we can't significantly finish lock down. We also need tests available to check if someone has had it and also many more tests to test if people have got it etc.
