Dyche sacked

Dyche is the last of the dinosaurs. He plays horrid, Brexit, 1980s Wimbledon football.

He has a job lined up as security guard in the Dundas Acarde with his pet Alsatian dog Winston..

“Dyche has twice got the club promoted from the Championship, achieved two top-half Premier League finishes and under him Burnley qualified for Europe for the first time in 51 years. He was the Premier League’s longest-serving manager – a mantle that passes to Jürgen Klopp, who took charge of Liverpool in October 2015.”

Madness. I guess when it’s your time to go, you go. After 10 years he might have had enough. But I don’t see them ever hitting these heights again.

Can see it ending in a car-crash there.
A bit like our last season in the PL.

Think there must be more to this surely? Maybe a fall out?
Not many can cope with the last minute Manager switch........Watford are the experts

Given the timing it would seem like there must have been some fall out, why not do it earlier in the week after losing to Norwich. Why wait a few days then do it 2 days before a game so there’s no time for a new manager to take charge.
The timing of it is just strange.

Yeah, it's very strange.

They've got Ben Mee as part of the coaching staff for the match, so there's clearly not an immediate replacement ready.

Terrible decision!

It’s brilliant because it brings an end to an era of boring football tactics and Burnley will drift now. Gradually
Good riddance.
Dysche might emerge somewhere else and try the same but I’m sure fans won’t put up with his dross for long

Certain to go down but less certain to get back up now that they've sacked Dyche.
Few managers know how to get out of the Championship.
Stupid decision.
