Dune | Part Two - Has anyone watched it yet?

Just back from Dune II & as excellent as I'd hoped, really strong characters, story & both visually & audio excel too..

Whhaaaaattt!

Maybe Dune at 2hrs 45m won't be for you is what I'm thinking 😂
 Haha yeah, probably not. Yeah, I dunno what it is, Blade Runner in particular I felt like I was playing one of those video games like RDR2 when you’re in camp and can’t run! It’s like his trademark shot and I find it unbearably slow.

Might give Dune 1 a watch though since it’s so highly recommended here.

Watched it at the iMax in Leeds and i have to add my voice to the previous... it was outstanding. The Mrs isn't big into Sci-Fi but she loved it as well.

Just watched part 1 again. Think I enjoyed more second time around than first. If I remember rightly the volume was crap at the cinema. My hearing is poor but even my son who can hear a pin drop struggled with some of it.

Looking forward to part 2 now.
Dune pt1 is decent but it's no Blade Runner 2049...now that was mind blowing at the cinema

Really enjoyed it.

I wouldn't agree with the suggestions they it's the best science fiction of all time, but I had a good time watching it.

Yeah, it was a great watch .. really enjoyed it. My only issue is a minor one in that it seemed to rattle along at a fair pace and so you need to be on the ball to keep up

Seen both, not a big fan at all. Mostly things going boom and people going to war for unspecified reasons. The bastardised Arabic is just daft to me.

But sci-fi is not really my genre so don't let me put you off.

I can’t even use my hand at the moment, so I’m using dictation to post because I had to respond and immediately came on here to say that it is arguably the best film that I’ve ever seen in terms of a combination of both visual and storytelling. Some of the parallels with other great sci-fi and with the world around us made it feel incredibly immersive
