Dublin

I go to Dublin a bit with work, the Stags Head in and around Temple Bar does a superb pint of Guinness, best I’ve had in Dublin.

If you’re after a quieter night of any you’re there I stay around Ranelagh, there’s a couple of decent pubs and plenty of nice restaurants that are worth a try. The Butchers Grill does a great steak, NightMarket for some decent Thai. They’re all pretty small though so you should book.

I was just about to post something similar about Ranelagh. It’s a couple of stops away on the Luas if you want to get away from Dublin centre.

Temple Bar is like Soho. There’s cooler places to visit.

From start to finish, the road from Stephen's Green to Ballsbridge - Baggot St - is paved with quality watering holes.

Ranelagh Rd. Good nightlife as is South William Street.

Been many times and always enjoyed it but it is mainly about the drink (the Guinness in most places is awesome). If you need to give the liver a rest and its not ******* down the zoo is a decent day out, if you're into that sort of thing.

Again might not be the weather for it but you can take the Dart train to the coast to a place called Howth (about 30 mins). Worth seeing if the weather is kind, some nice little eating places there.
