A man central to the Iraq war, the after effects of which are still ongoing today.Wow nothing like showing a bit of respect for the dead hey?
Very classy
Millions dead as a result of the US leadership under the Bush presidencies of which he was a big part.
And yet it’s wrong to call him out on that fact? Give your head a shake.
I don't understand why people who made a living promoting and profiting from war deserve any sympathy. This man was behind many military operations that resulted in the deaths of 100s of 1000s of deaths.

I’m still confused but we know he’s dead.
I also know as a dead person who must’ve made a contribution to his society given his career I wanted to show some respect, because I wasn’t comfortable with moggasdog’s comment, so I read his Wikipedia page and in the end decided to not comment. A challenging person. RIP.

Hitler put plenty of years to the military and public service too so I don't really think that's the benchmark to look at.

Rumsfeld was part of the neo-cons (as they were known) who deliberately went after Saddam Hussain and Iraq even though evidence suggesting their involvement in September 11th was non-existent. His actions tore a country apart and led to the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people just trying to live their life.
