The biggest effect on all of us (barring those that don’t make it) will be that we pick up the bill for the financial chaos it’s caused - added to the bill for the banking crash this will take decades to recover from

We already are. Jobs are being lost as we speak and if you have a pension it is worth a third less than it was 3 weeks ago.
