He’s high tempo and positive, we played the ball out faster tonight, he’s a livewire, he will be top assists by the end of season.
Although I agree he is positive and frightens defenders but I would argue that McGree is the difference. He’s high tempo and positive, we played the ball out faster tonight, he’s a livewire, he will be top assists by the end of season.
They both are the difference without McGree it doesn’t work because of the balance and threat he poses on the left side and without doak we’d be less potent and dangerous down the right and without Mcgree doing his thing on the left it would be easier to deal with doak and just the one threat but it’s so hard to look after both flanksAlthough I agree he is positive and frightens defenders but I would argue that McGree is the difference.
I agree with @Corcaigh_the_Cat that McGree allows Azaz to shine. They both are the difference without McGree it doesn’t work because of the balance and threat he poses on the left side and without doak we’d be less potent and dangerous down the right and without Mcgree doing his thing on the left it would be easier to deal with doak and just the one threat but it’s so hard to look after both flanks
And he allows Borges to not look like a carthorse.I agree with @Corcaigh_the_Cat that McGree allows Azaz to shine.

Totally agree. He is so direct and it's what we've been missing. Going to be a top player this kid. He’s high tempo and positive, we played the ball out faster tonight, he’s a livewire, he will be top assists by the end of season.
Azaz isn't shining yet for me. He's steady and not a bad footballer, I would just like to see him speed things up a little. He quite often slows down our attacks by taking too many touches. Hopefully it'll come. Carrick obviously rates him highly.I agree with @Corcaigh_the_Cat that McGree allows Azaz to shine.
I can see him going on a goal scoring spree with McGree in the team.Azaz isn't shining yet for me. He's steady and not a bad footballer, I would just like to see him speed things up a little. I thought that last week but then figured I criticise Jones for passing too much. I'm just happy we have a player who wants to run his full back it makes so much difference. in time he'll make better decisions especially when he starts to know his mates.I said tonight that Doak sometimes needs to pass the easy ball can’t be taking players on outside all the time comes inside easy pass we end up scoring
He was brilliant in the build to the goal. He starts it all off receiving the ball on the right and then finds space in the penalty area. No Albion player tracks him.Keeping McGree fit will be the defining thing this season. He completely transforms this team
Tonight, two men went towards Doak every time he got the ball which freed up another player. We nearly scored from this when Ayling found acres of space to cross for LL header, only for the keeper to pull off a brilliant save.He was brilliant in the build to the goal. I'm surprised manager's aren't assigning a player to man-mark him as at the moment teams just can't cope with his movement off the ball.
