Do you have a foreign team you support/follow?

Villareal, after Boro's visit. Loved the stadium, the area and the fans were good hosts.

Well run, small town club, consistently punching above its weight. What's not to like.

Worth posting after this narrow cup loss that I follow Lille, or LOSC, on the simple account it's my favourite city in France.

Today in the 9th round of the French Cup they played at home against Golden Lion, which sounds like a pub team, but in fact play in the top division of the Martinique league (a beautiful island in the Carribbean which is part of France - now there's an away game that would be worth going to!)

Unluckily for the away team there was no shock today. 12-0 the final score.

The school I went to would only allow white tops for PE, they would allow small trims of colour.
Ever the rebel I went to jack Hatfield’s and found myself a dynamo Moscow shirt (1992). 😄.
They’d be my post worthy team.

Lille is always worth a visit. Great beer and bars and the first weekend in September it hosts europe's largest fleamarket. Some fantastic and quirky stuff for sale, but you'd need a van to carry all the items you'd love to buy.

Rayo Vallecano. We had a weekend in Madrid years ago and both Real and Atletico were away from home so we had a choice of Rayo or Getafe and chose Rayo. I also love their strip with the lightning bolt sash.

Most foreign teams I have a soft spot for tend to come from FM saves where I end up getting attached to the club and find myself wanting to know more about the clubs. Palermo, Werder Bremen, Zaragoza, Fluminense, Corinthians.

Quite like Inter, from Football Italia days and loving Ronaldo when I was a kid.
