Jones is playing brilliantly at the moment, but we still don't have cover for him, so on that basis it would make sense to bring him back.

But he wont have gone to Forest for nothing and if we do recall him then that adds an extra salary and we have to take the loss of his loan fee.

CW has already said there needs to be outgoings to balance any incoming, so it will be interesting to see what he does - it could depend upon arrivals and departures elsewhere in the squad.
 
We need to bring him back because Jones can't/ won't be playing the next 23 games and potential playoff games. We need back up and rotation. Spence be perfect for this Jones can play on a Tuesday Spence on a Saturday rotate stop the injuries and them getting exhausted.

Nottingham Forest are hoping they can keep Djed Spence for the rest of the season amid claims the player is keen to remain at the City Ground for the rest of the season.

And the Reds look to have been given hope of keeping him Trentside due to the current form of Boro winger Isaiah Jones.

Jones has excelled under Boro boss Chris Wilder sparking theories that they will not need to recall Spence from his loan spell at Forest.

That would be music to the ears of Forest fans who have been impressed by the quality of Spence's performances after arriving in the final hours of the transfer window.

He has gone on to win rave reviews for his displays under head coach Steve Cooper with Reds fans eager for the attack-minded wingback to remain at the club.

And it was the subject of a debate on Twitter on Monday night when Analytics Forest posted a comparison between the two players who are in outstanding form.

Chris (Forest fan): "It's the form of Jones which makes me hopeful of Spence being able to continue at #nffc for the remainder of the season. My concern for Boxing Day is that Spence won't be available to play against Boro, Lowe is still out and Jordi may not be fit after his knock at the weekend."

Yep weakening forest should be the least we should be doing . It’s unlikey forest will pay the kind of money we want hopefully there’s someone else comes in for decent money . Jones can play in either side mind so there coukd still be a place for him here
 
Trees arent completely skint.
They`ve off-loaded an entire squad over the last two Managers.
A few more are reportedly going in January.
If they want him that much - they`l find the money.
