Such a shame to get such an injury so close to the Olympics.
I wondered the other day with another athlete (can’t remember who it was) who was saying they’d got an injury not long before the olympics and it hampered their chances, why they still competed. I guess when you’ve trained all that time, you just hope things could fall into place on the day and you’d be able to pull something out the bag.
 
Really feel for her. Hope she comes back stronger for Paris.

Apart from Muir I don’t see anymore obvious GB medal chances in the athletics sadly.
 
It's hard not to feel for Asher-Smith. She's been brilliant for a few years now and as she said was in top shape only weeks ago. She's still young and the next Olympics is only three years away so hopefully she goes to that in the best shape.
