Did anyone understand that bike race?

The Omnium is a confusing event and I say that as on of the cycling fans on here.
Walls was very tactically astute as well as extremely fit and durable. Particularly loved his ride in the elimination race as he kept pinning riders on the bottom of the track and preventing them getting out. He was clinical.

You mean like the womens road race, where the Dutch girl thought she had won gold only to find out an Austrian had finished 5 mins before her.

That was purely down to a lack of racing without race radios, which are now common place in most top tier races these days.

Personally I'd love to see a return to no race radios, or at least one way radios rather than having riders race like robots based on the calculations of a DS back in the car. With power meters they already have enough information available to them.
