Did anyone hear Neil Warnock on Talksport this morning?

Said that when he went to say goodbye to the players, he wasn't let into Rockliffe because Wilders press conference was going on. He had to back a few days later.
Said that he knew that he was getting his cards when Bausor (and he wasn't clear on who but either Kieran Scott or Stuart Webber) wouldn't look at him in the meeting before the WBA game.
Described it all as a "Lack of class" .
Said he thought Dael Fry is the best CB in the Championship, and Boro have a Squad although light, easily capable of promotion.

Sure he said it was the DOF who wouldn't look him in the eye. You know, I really like Warnock but he's starting to annoy me a bit now. At the end of the day, even if the performances let alone the results had of been better, then he might have still been here until the end of season.

Why on earth would the club want him round too on the day the press are there for Wilders press conference! Bizarre!

He's a good self-publicist Neil I'll give him that. Good that he keeps saying how good our squad is but it's a bit of a self-own isn't it? If the players are easily capable of promotion then we have to look elsewhere for the reason why we weren't anywhere close to challenging for it when Neil was in charge.

I wouldn't really expect any different to be honest.

There's a bit from both sides for me, I think the club could have probably been a bit better in handling the situation but equally I don't blame them for making the change it wasn't working with Warnock and he wasn't on board with the direction Scott looks to be taking recruitment. I said from the start for Scott's role to be effective it needs buy in from the chairman and manager - I'm not sure warnock was bought into it hence all those "foreign lads" references.

I guess warnock's pride has took a bit of a broozing, he probably expected to be the one walking away on his own terms rather than being shown the door.

as for not being allowed in - rightly so what message would that send to Wilder and the players if warnock was strolling around on his first day. He had ample chance to say good bye on the saturday after the WBA game.

I fookin love TS. But then I like Durham, O'Brien, Jeremy Corbyn, Mike Parry.... some people can listen to people with other views without getting upset
Really? The constant adverts make it unlistenable for me also. I would never be upset by any comments on there, there's just an element of pub bore about most of the presenters for me.
All personal taste of course (or lack of😉)

Warnock will be disappointed how it ended, but can't surely be surprised. I miss some of his one liners, but definitely don't miss his touchline antics....in the end he had become a parody of himself with his constant berating of the officials.

I used to listen to Hawksbee and Jacobs, but rarely tune in now. Ray Parlour's their best pundit and Durham would probably be decent on a proper radio station where he didn't have to play 'Mr Wind-Up'. Am surprised Brazil is still alive....did I say I once saw Andy Townsend on my Chiltern line evening commute home looking a little worse for wear after he had been on a bender with Brazil following the morning show!

Get sacked then expect to turn up days later and be allowed in?

Whether or not the club did anything wrong, the results were simply not good enough. Bye.

Personally I struggle to listen to hours of d!ckheads repeating nonsense. Knock yourself out. 🤷‍♂️
exactly, it's clickbait radio.

I've seen the odd clip on line, but I stopped listening at least 10 years ago because it lacks any intelligence at all.

It's the kind of station that would argue how England should play possession football like Spain for a decade.....then we do that under Southgate and they push the agenda that Southgate's teams are boring. That's one example, of pretty much the ethos of talksport. Create a victim, get the public enraged about them, ignore nuance and context, then flip as soon as there is a better way to enrage people. There will never be any honesty or integrity to their 'reporting', I'm out, for good.

I disagree the station has an agenda. To me its a collection of individuals, albeit some a bit samey (ex pro's) and I like the fact they have very different views, quite often.

Warnock needs to be careful. He's friends with Gibson but I can't imagine Gibson will appreciate him speaking negatively about the club on the radio.

At the end of the day, he did a decent job keeping us up that season, but last season was very underwhelming. I'd fancied us to get into the play-offs and we didn't come close.

Our form under Warnock was inconsistent after the turn of the year. We were going nowhere under Warnock.

I never listen to Brazil, too laddish/tory. Simon Jordan is one of the best listens around, H&J are two lovely old men, Goldstein is great, but I miss him being with Cundy on Sportsbar - that was superb. Durham is a very knowledgeable footy fan.

Yeah, I like talksport. Pretty much agree with all you‘ve put except I absolutely detest Simon Jordan!

I don't agree with any of that. Having said that, TalkSh!t is a guilty pleasure of mine. I enjoy Laura Woods and Ally McCoist (less so some of the "pundits" they have on O'hara, Agbonlahor, Bent) and i enjoy Simon Jordan. The rest can get in the bin. Far too London-centric for the vast majority of the time.
