Democrats retain control of senate

Bad news, how can there be so many idiots who vote for far right lunatics?

The other massive question is how do countries like the UK and USA get the moderate centre voters out? You can guarantee all the swivel eyed loons cast a vote for their chosen sociopath but if only a small extra % of normal people voted then it would make a big difference.
 
Don’t forget that 48 of the 50 senate nominees for the GOP are vocal election deniers as well.

As incredible and as terrifying as that possibility is sadly you’d have say it’s a very real possibility.

He just can’t seem to be stopped be it lawsuits scandals hell the Jan they built gallows and ransacked congress on his orders in front of the worlds media and yet he’s still here.

He’s evil pure and simple.

I've lived in the US...the Americans are so insular minded (generally speaking more than 50%) and what that means is ; if they arent getting fuel (Gasoline as they call it) at the right price and food on the table they will vote for whoever will provide that at the right price irrespective of anything else their president might do...like lie, cheat or wreck relations around the world ; more than 50% of Americans don't care as long as their 'rights' are protected and they have the food and fuel required to get about their daily lives....
They are a fascinating species of human ; same language as us Brits but just as thick as us but in a different way...
 
The problem in the us are the echo chambers and not just Fox News news but OAN and newsmaxx these openly push the false narrative. Yes we have media bias here but nothing even close to these.

They openly push QANNON theory which is so bizarre it’s just insane and yet here they are.

Throw religion into that mix and that’s when it gets scary. That’s what is driving this agenda the hard line Christian Right.

True - however, arent you watching how the Tories are adopting this same narrative.....lying and twisting every bit of data ; for example if the Tories dot like a set of data they now say things like ; 'i don't recognise that'
Cleverly worded way of saying ; I am ignoring that aspect of data....and denying you the right to present it.
We're heading towards the USA style....under the Tories...

No we’re not as we as a nation are to cynical it’s religion that’s the big difference.
The tories will be out soon anyway.
 
Over time, say the next 50 years I think this polarisation will result in more and more people moving to blue or red states depending on their political outlook. This will result. I think, in the country eventually splitting. I'm not sure if that can be achieved in a peaceful manner, scary times.
