Defend the indefensible

I have no idea I think most of the boyscout beers are 5% these days, but stop distracting me, again you move the topic away from.... what was I talking about, oh yeah your propensity to move the debate from the key issue on the thread to.. well whatever wins you an argument, I know this because I do the same thing with my wife.

Thought I’d also get a mention 😮
Never mind, thick skin
Will think about something that could stoke your fires 🔥👍

EFL

It's a bit boring on the board tonight, I find myself agreeing with everyone, whats going on?

Come on Alvez_You_Are_Wrong_And_Iam_Right_48, you must have something I can fight about
Bear give me 1,000,365 case studies based on non-anecdotal evidence I can argue with that proves masks stop people being dicks
Randy, I am sure you can start an argument in a phone box, give me your best shot
Face Fuzz, jeez where do I start, it doesn't matter, I am doing it in an echo chamber, come on, prove me wrong that capitalism and dog eat dog actually benefits anyone except the biggest dog.

Small Town, I am going to defend your (cough cough) voting for the Conservative party.

Plazmuh, I am sure you have something to say about this, doesn't matter who we vote for, the goldfish run the world economy.

Come on guys.

Much love

Randy, that is quite difficult to defend. The unfortunate fact is that in any emergency situation, be it economic, health, war, whatever, the most vulnerable in society are going to suffer the most.

I don't excuse this, years of government cuts in this country has 1 in 5 children going to school hungry in the best of times. The problem, I suspect will be exacerbated in poorer nations. In the modern world no one should go hungry or thirsty, no one should die for want of available medical care, and the truth is, there is a magic money tree, it's called, collectively, tax dodging corporations.

I did a crap job of defending the indefensible.

The UN say that about 630,000 people die of malnourishment every month and the vast majority are the young. Yet there is 17% more food worldwide than needed.

The US could feed many large countries with waste alone.

This is indefensible.
