Dean Gordon

Dean came over to NZ in 2006 and played for Albany, Auckland and the New Zealand
Knights who were our A League team before relocating from Auckland and changing their name to Wellington Phoenix.

He must have loved travelling because he went to Lewes then Torquay then up to Whitby
 
He’s a nice fella. My son plays in a lot of his Futsal tournaments and leagues up in Sunderland and has coaching sessions every now and then with Kieron Brady who I think works with Dean.
 
Kieron Brady was some player for a while. Mackem mates used to rave about him then he disappeared, think injuries ended his career very early sadly. Last saw him at Bernie Slaven's testimonial when he had apparently been following the Jamie Pollock diet since retirement.

married a lass from Darlo ( I think) opened a trainer shoe shop in Darlo as well ....
