Can honestly say I am 100% apathetic about him leaving. Wish him well, but really hope this doesn't get filed amongst the thousands of examples of young British players being blinded by the lights too early in their careers.

Need to get some of it spent asap though.

Recruitment Team, if we get to spend some of the money and it was the type of figure we were asking for, have played a blinder. We can invest in new up and coming stars and flog one a year and we are sorted. Not sure how much sporting glory this will achieve but we won't face another 1986.

Must admit this is an amazing 'model' we now have. Sign good players for cheap amounts, then flog them on for loads more!

I enjoyed watching Rogers this season, has a lot of potential but I worry he will stall at Villa. Making such a profit on him in 6 months is a testament to the recruitment team and coaching staff.

Not overly upset by it, had some good games here and there but was barely here long enough to feel any attachment to him.
