De Niro on trump -

He’s a great actor, and I’m not saying he’s wrong here, but he’s got some pretty warped views on vaccination and autism.
Although I can't find any articles showing he's changed his position, that was 8 years ago and you would have hoped he might have seen sense (and reality) since then.

He's absolutely spot on about Trump, though. Most New Yorkers are.

I know it’s been going on a while, but when did it become the norm in politics to enjoy and even revel in aggravating other people?

I find it so strange that rather than making a counter argument of “well he is a good person because x, y and z”, people instead make antagonistic and silly comments to wind people up and even seem to derive pleasure from others displeasure. To coin a phrase… “sad”.

The problem is that for every De Niro there are 100 other people hypnotised by Trump.
Unfortunately, this is the most important fact.

These Trumpers just cannot see anything past what he tells them. This must be a psychologists wet dream: a mass brain washing.

There are not enough people speaking out against Trump, and I mean the ones who hold the publics attention, perhaps there are scared.
Anyway im sure Trump will win and we all need to be concerned.

Trump has underperformed in the primaries, he's losing previous voters at an alarming rate and his core base, MAGA are not strong enough to sustain him. He's NEVER won the popular vote, he's rapidly running out of campaign funds, and he's got a major criminal trial starting in a few weeks.

Meanwhile, Biden has sailed through the primaries, even winning states where he wasn't on the ballot. Ignore the media stories (who want Trump to win, because that generates news!) and look at the facts and figures instead.

Add to this Biden's campaign hasn't started yet, and the Dems have WAY more funds than the Republicans. Biden also has the incumbent advantage, and won the popular vote in 2020. Since then the economy has recovered from how the Trump administration left it at astounding rates and even pro-Trump media outlets like Fox News and Newsmax have been forced to admit this live on air.
