Darwin Nunez headbutt

The other incidents are nothing really. I would have thought pretty standard shithousery strikers must be subjected to week in week out. I've been on the receiving end of worse during an after work 5 a side kick about.

He'll need to grow a thicker skin pretty quickly, there'll be bigger wind up merchants than Andersen licking their lips at the prospect of playing him now.

"Of course it was a red, he was provoked but that is not how he should behave," said Klopp.

"It was not a reaction we want to see. He knows he will be challenged in this way, centre-halves will do that, but it is not a reaction we want.

Klopp not making any excuses for him, apart from he was provoked, and defenders are going to do that to him.

Why not just say it was a clear red and we will speak to him about the standards we expect?
I agree the provocation was a little push on the shoulder, oh and probably some harsh words.

He attempted to headbutt him backwards in the challenge that led to the red card. It was a headbut and the ref had to send him off.

Yeah, that was pointed out, and I acknowledged i’d got it wrong a little later in the thread.
He’s definitely going to need to chill out a bit if he’s getting so wound up over such minor things, otherwise he’ll spend half the season suspended.

Yeah I was lazy and posted before I read the whole thread! Not meaning to beat down on you.
