Dark Matter (the series)

I’m almost finished Eric on Netflix and have found that decent.
Thought 3 body problem was okay, but kind of wish I’d not seen it as I feel it is one of those series that would definitely benefit from being able to smash the first series and get stuck straight into the second series, as I found the ending point wasn’t very good/satsifying.

I’ve also been enjoying the new series of Mayor of Kingstown.

Completely different, but I thought Mr Inbetween was just about the best low key tv series I’ve seen in years. Really sucked me in.
did you spot the error in the story in Eric ?, how did the little lad know about the subway and be able to draw a map when he wasn't even allowed to walk to school on his own ?

Must admit, I’ve started Star Trek, Next Generation from the beginning again.
Once I’ve done that, will probs do Stargate SG1. They don’t make them like they used to 😂
You should do the right thing and use this site to watch all the trek in chronological order

Really liked Dark Matter - something a little different I thought.
I thought Eric was awful and a waste of my time.
Supacell was decent though a little daft.
Will add Mr Inbetween to my list.

I am enjoying Mr Inbetween, just started season 2. As mentioned before, it's slowburn but it excellently written and has genuine dark humour running through it.

Very slow. Didn't pick up till the penultimate episode of series 1. Then it was full steam ahead. One of the best shows I've seen. Gonna watch the film it was based on tomorrow - The Magician.

Just finished A Murder at the end of the World - FX/Disney. It’s stayed with me for a few days. Would recommend.

Anyone watched it?

I'm just about to start the last episode and I'm really enjoying it (probably the best series I've seen since Dark). Admittedly, some of the appeal is that it's set in my home town of Chicago and seeing the alternate realities is fascinating.

Anyone else seen it? Worth a watch if not.

I know some on here have read the book, kind of wish I had read it first, but I don't think there's much point now.

The book was ok, I didn’t know there was a tv show so I’ll give it a watch.

Whats next for me to watch please? Three Body Problem?

Definitely read the books first. They are the best sci-fi books I’ve ever read, and I’ll never tire of recommending them.

Started Dark Matter then halfway through the first episode remembered the whole plot of the book but will probably stick with it.

Season 2 of Silo comes in November as does Dune: Prophecy..........................six episodes set 10000 years before the films.
