I actually haven't, its about the only 'major town/city' in England I don't think I've been to. Weird as I lived up the road in Nottingham for 4 years. Never went to Filbert Street or King Power either.

I've been once, to be fair it isn't any worse than Nottingham.

Same here. I was there 25 odd years ago now, and have been back a few times. Still a good night out, but never the same as when I was there.

As a regular starter in a team that had just won the league and was always going to have it’s best players picked off by the big teams, you’d have to have the confidence to back yourself to get into the Chelsea team and earn more trophies and international caps. It hasn’t worked out but very few would have turned the offer down in his position.

He'll probably regret the drink driving conviction more. The bloke is clearly a d1ickhead if he thinks driving whilst twice over the limit is OK.

That's true but its a big gamble that doesn't always pay off. Still a shame that his career has basically gone nowhere and probably never will now.
