Way back in the day when B-L first started posting in broken English I was one of the few who defended him, thinking the perhaps he was either a foreign fan or a mentally impaired individual and felt he got too much criticism without people maybe considering things. Now however, after switching between broken English, the queens English and blatant plagiarism I feel maybe my earlier kind consideration of him was misplaced. This is now just tedious in the extreme.
As for Nobby-B, he used to be a decent poster and I can’t really make my mind up whether he is being serious or it is all a pss-take now. Sad either way.
I’m all for a bit of daft now and then but the board does not really need this constant drivel. Between the tosh and the constant politics it’s very dismaying watching even sensible threads / discussions slide into the same tired old abysses (Abyssi?) and or slanging matches.
Anyway, there you are. An honest (weary) opinion. Slaughter me.

Taarabt, was purely a spot of speculation given we’d had people in Lisbon for a few days and NW’s penchant for buying lads he knows well and has previously got a tune out of (Bamba, NML, Bolasie for example). Again, not claiming ITK and not made up childish b/s.
it’s got sod all to do with hating transfer rumours.
BTW go back about 2 months and take a look at who first mentioned Coulson to Ipswich on a season long loan eh? You’ll find it was me, long before anyone else.

anyway, let’s draw a line and move on. I can’t be arssed arguing and I don’t hold grudges.
PS. I also know the name of the coach they want to work under the new DoF (who’s name escapes me bizarrely) but I won’t be posting it as ITK b/s on here. He’s local-ish.

Thought Sturridge was as good a prospect as Raheem Sterling at one point but it’s very odd how his career has panned out, he hasn’t even been registered with a club for 18 months and he’s only 31.
Am not even sure if it’s injuries or booze with Sturridge, I don’t think of him as an Andy Carroll who just can’t get fit or someone who just wants to party. He’s served some bans for betting but there must be something else happening. Perhaps he just doesn’t want to be a footballer anymore, which is fair enough but seems a shame and waste of his talent.
Beggars can’t be choosers and all that but I’d have no faith in a player who has taken a year out of the game to hang out in LA. There’s always a contract to be had somewhere for a player with his ability.
It’s a long way down from being lethal with Suarez at Liverpool, shortlisted for PL player of the year and England’s number 9 at 23 to being all but retired at 30. Would be like if Rashford did the same thing now. Very strange, and nah I wouldn’t touch him with a bargepole.

Hope this isn’t true, I don’t want him here.
Think he just lost confidence in his own ability and ended up scared to get injured or make existing injuries worse. Tiniest little niggle he’d refuse to play, when he did he wouldn’t sprint as too scared, wouldn’t challenge and would jump out of the way of any incoming tackles.
Was unable to adapt his game so became pretty much useless.
