Mine in the car is fine unless I try to change stations. Over the last few months, when I do so most of the other stations appear to have disappeared and it can be a nightmare trying to get them back again.
Reception between analogue and DAB in my cars is not much different if anything the DAB get more electrical interference. Of course DAB picks up stations the analague could not.
