Anyone ever came across a transaction other than Bitcoin using crypto. I can understand the variances other than it’s keeping rich people rich

Just checked the value of my cryptos.
I 'invested' £2000 back in May across VET, ADA, DOGE, DOT and XRP
It's been down to about £1000 and upto about £2,500, currently worth £2,200 - so 10% return as it stands.
I am in a fortunate position in that I can afford to lose it, but not normally the gambling type so wasn't the best feeling when it was down 50%
